Asda Gardening Dept
« on: August 06, 2012, 18:02:24 »
I'm well pleased, it looks like Asda are selling most of the garden stuff off.  Today I got 6 packs of netting for 50p each, garlic bulbs for 50p a pack and peat pots for 30p a pack.

A big welcome from me too.  I have got to drive near a large Asda tomorrow so I will check it out.  Never thought of them for gardening stuff.

I'm looking for slug pellets, sold out at the 99p shop and the local shops.  £5 in Morrisons, but not sure that  my vegs. are worth that amount of money.  Any left in Asda, which is not a shop I usually shop at.

I recently paid just under £5 for a large tub of water resistant slug pellets so maybe that's the type Morrisons are selling  ;)

Hello all.

I popped in to Asda today, but unfortunately there was no gardening items left.  :'( :'(

I'll have to be quicker next year.

Morrisons are probably the worst value for gardening things of all the supermarkets.  Meat pies, on the other hand ....
