OFF TOMORROW
« on: May 31, 2012, 16:42:38 »
Not too far away from home just popping over the water to Ferndown. The Yeti might get over later as her poor old dad has had a turn. Nice little caravan site alongside a heath that is wooded at the edges and you can hear the night jars in the evening. Jubilee celebrations on monday evening with a bbq  run by the owner and me playing a few jigs and reels on the squeezebox, should be a good craic. Big bonus no children allowed on this site.

Nearly got blown over, It got a bit windy, plus we were still worried about father in law.  so we decided to come home early, only trouble was the ferrys were having trouble as well. But the wind dropped a bit and we sailed over. The break was not a let down though, we had a good time with the jubilee bbq, Chumley turned out to be a good caravan dog, behaving himself, apart from nicking my pork pie, but he charmed all the neighbours.
We had a quick look around the local caravan dealers and done a deal on a nice used but like new one which we will pick up next week.

Dropped in on father in law unannounced and he had to hide his glass of whiskey and get rid of the cigarette smoke, so it looks as if the cunning old bugger is putting it on a bit.

The awning is a fully fitted out for smoking concerts, optics, beer cooler, loungers, heating and mood lights. Plus a quick nip around the back to the bushes for a quick gipsys kiss ;)
