evening this will no doubt be a quickie for the sages out there:-
we have a very windy plot and were which way round to plant the beans facing the wind backs to the wind or with the wind?????

I would tend to plant the rows running N/S so that each side has a good chance of the sun, or SW/NE so that the wind blows up the row and not against it.

the line would be SW/NE that's the down side that's the commonest wind route :(
