I bought a souvenir  t-shirt in New Zealand (nice fern design). The label says "Designed and marketed in New Zealand. Made in China".  ::)

Sorry to hijack this thread but my 13 year old granddaughter was in trouble for buying a tee shirt. She thought it was lovely & promised not to wear it when the grandparents were around ;D. It had a lovely picture of an EGG, underneath the EGG it said ' I got laid today' Do I laugh or not ;)?

Call me old fashioned, but not at 13 yrs, she may not understand it fully, but may give the wrong message to boys.  Shocked of Enfield.  :( :(

Thank you ladies. Borlotti, I can see where you're coming from but no, boys definitely wouldn't get it wrong with her. With the sex education they get these days she's more aware than I am. One of her friends who is a boy ;D walked miles to bring her mum a box of choccies on her birthday & to get in granddaughters good books. It worked with mum but not GD.

I once bought a souvenir keyring in Paris, a cube with plaques of the different sights on, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame etc.

Made in England.

I also spotted a familiar item on my bosses desk back in the 70's. He told me he bought the statuette in Cornwall and it was a Cornish Pixie. Oddly, it was identical to the onyx statue I have of Tlaloc, the Aztec rain god and was made in Mexico. Hmm.
