Yellowing Chives?
« on: May 08, 2012, 10:49:04 »
About a week ago or so I planted some shop brought living herbs in a 8inch pot Chives,Mint, and from seed Coriander the latter two seem fine However Chives are turning yellow! any clues as to why? I'm tempted to hook them out and replace with parsley I'll  await advice.

WELLIES ;)

Yellowing leaves normally indicate lack of nutrients / overwatering, try a liquid feed to see if you can give them a boost

Maybe too damp??? Chives are usually tough as anything, maybe if you plant in the ground they'll get going properly.
