Arum Lilies for Ponds?
« on: April 21, 2012, 12:02:57 »
I read an article recently that said you can just throw the tuberous roots of these lilies in the pond and they will start growing together and form pond cover! Anyone else heard of this or have even got these floating in their pond?

Recently, after a whole garden upheaval re-plan Mrs Roller planted a big pot of Arum Lilies at the back of our small pond. I wouldn't be in the least surprised if they grow over the edge and into the pond judging by how well everything else she plants grows!

But presently "we" are treating it as a marginal. It'll be interesting to see what other people do.  ;)
