Topic: when will my canas sprout?

I've always had mixed success overwintering canas and I think the frost got this years  :-\

They are in a large planter , outdoors on the patio...so when should shoots be visible, if they are lucky enough to have made it.

They did produce seed last year ( only 6 ) so I've planted those and I'll see what happens. ;D

Mine has spent the winter in a large pot inside a cold greenhouse and I just noticed that a tiny leaf has appeared.  I am a bit surprised because for part of the winter there was no roof on the greenhouse.  It's still inside the greenhouse (which now has a roof!)
