Has anyone pre chitted....
« on: April 17, 2012, 16:06:54 »
Schorzenoria (ooh bad spelling), I wondered if it was as good as for parsnips. With the weather so dodgy at the moment I thought it might be a more surefire way of gettin a better germination rate.. :)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Don't worry, we know what you mean  ;D

I always sow scorzonera direct and have never had the erratic germination that occasionally happens with parsnip.

If they do fail... I find fresh seed always germinates well... I'll send you some later in the season!  :)
