Three courgettes cut and in the trug yesterday - two round ones and one black-beauty. Normally, at this time of year, we're overwhelmed by them but, as the weather's not been good, they were welcomed.

Feeling like a excited kid at the moment. (well I am only 5+60 ;D) just heard I have won this years best plot of the site (they liked the informal look this year) and I am off to Sorrento on Friday ;D ;D. going with another widowed lady who is one of my many friends that I'v made since joining walking groups.  Also got a call from another 2 weeks ago who's friend as dropped out of a cruise, would I be interested? WOW YES :o so the first 2 weeks in December I will be in the Carrabean :o ;D.
I am walking round with a big grin on my face and yes I am picking cougettes and beans as well  ;)

After the last good news post, I had to stop and think what good news I have to tell...it took for while and was hard to find.. ::)..but here it is.
I managed to bite my tong and not to say something that I propably would have regretted later on. Temptation was great to just drop my tools in work, hand keys in and walk away.. ::)
So in good note, I've still got job to go to.. ::)..and chance to have proper blow out when the situation really gets irritating.. ::)..shame to waste good clear out of mind for sake of few 'little' things.
It's been lovely and sunny day to be in work, not too warm..just right.. :)

I don't think my 'good news' really qualify..but I did try.. ;D

Lovely to hear all of your good news
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Wow you have done so well!!

Keep at it and keep it up. What brilliant results for all of your effort and determination!  :)
You should be (as they say) well chuffed.

I'm keeping an eye on my very slowly widening waistline since I stopped the may-times-a-day cycle rides to visit my parents. Having them live just across the road has so many advantages... now I might even get time to cycle because I want to.  ;)

That Sorrento holiday does sound good  :) I have an old college friend who has just been there for a couple of weeks. Good recommendation as he was born in Sicily so visited his family further south but chose Sorrento as a base.

I managed just one day there during a car trip around the coast from Naples. Love the area.

Envious? Loads!!!!  ;)

I now have good news to report...I am a Grandma again ;D
He was not expected until the end of September but arrived in a hurry last Sunday, the day after I arrived in Tuscany! I told the daughter not to do it while we were away but the disobedient child did it anyway ::) ;)
Luckily she has a wonderful sister who was far more use than I'd have been.

He is called Joshua and he is beautiful, I've been cuddling him all day. ;D ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

It's lovely to read everyone's news, especially when it's been a challenging year.

My news is that I've been accepted onto a teacher training course (further education), starting next week!  :D
Currently feeling joy, anticipation and sheer panic, all at the same time! :)
