Looking forward to seeing the photos of you & Chumley curled up together on the sofa!!!!!!!!!!! ;D..yes..me too..soon, I suspect.. ;) ;D

Once they are on the sofa there is no going back. It is a discipline thing too, they need to know they are bottom dog.

I use this training principle on MR PKL, with success.

two more days then walkies. chumley get down, He is a bit to small for the big studded collar ;) so a little harness will be got tomorrow. stop that now, He is learning fast. House trained, sit, stay, comes to a whistle. But all is lost every evening when he wants to sit on mums lap and every command goes in one ear and out the other. Oiy you little sod.

Although I thought it was a good place we got him from, the vet was not impressed by his condition. He is up to scratch now, good job we joined the puppy club at the local pets hospital vets, would have cost me a fortune. Just wait till your mother gets home,

His favourite toy at the moment is an empty fruit shoot bottle that makes a hell of a noise as he chases it around. Where do you think you are going, I will just have to watch him as his teeth get stronger and he can pull it to bits. Chumley, get down!

My brother has a cocker spaniel puppy.  He has had to fix a wooden boards against his sofa as the dog would hide her toys under there and then tear up the carpet and sofa in a bid to get them out.  She is always being told to get down off the sofa too.

Oh the joys of having a puppy!  They are so loving and cute though that we forgive them whatever mischief they get up to.

Any more photos ACE?
