hawthore plants

hi,i have planted about 800 Hawthorne bare root 2 weeks ago in lincolnshire can anyone tell me if they will be ok during this cold/frosty weather we are having?i am worried they might die,cost me a few hundred pounds with rabbit guards and canes. thanks rick

The forecast looks as though its fairly frost free next week. They should be frost hardy, but may need firming back in if the frost has lifted the soil at all.

Hi that sounds like a big job you did.
I'd say that so long as they were all dormant it should be okay.

I've just seen the front page of the Dreary Eggspress and they are forecasting -100 for the next 4 millenia, and they NEVER get it wrong!!
