At last something positive - I am truly so pleased for Carrie Ann, for you and for all your family.  Amazing how resilient the human spirit can be ....

GUYS!
you wouldn't believe it...went to see carrie-ann yesterday and she was sitting up in a chair off the ventilator and looking lovely! she was smiley and so cute, she looked like a little girl again. we had a good talk (she can only Mouth still) but they are hoping to get her onto soup which she was pleased about, she did want a macdonalds! she hasn't lost her sense of humour!
the nurses cannot believe her progress and nor can we!
they might even be moving her to a ward in the next week.
we are so relieved and i bet you guys will join us in our joy!
all my love
Jemma
i am hoping to take a piccy of carrie-ann in the next month or two, when she is ready so i can introduce you all to her!

Was feeling a bit down today, what with back ache and neck ache and and and, but this has made my day! Really pleased to hear the good progress.
