Thank goodness it's better news!! I was getting really worried about Carrie Ann. I've been thinking of her a lot and wondering how she was doing.

I hope her progress will continue now without any setbacks.

I know this is silly but I planted 9 lilies at the week-end and told them to grow just for CA.  :-[ I'm hoping that by the time they fower she'll be back to full strength and leading a normal life.

Thanks for letting us know how she's doing Jemma.

Jemma - Only just caught up on Carrie Ann's latest news. That is good news. I keep meditating for her. I'm so glad she's coming back and is aware of what's going on. (remember - it could be tears of joy, not tears of sadness).

Love to you all.

Just read the thread cyberhugs to Carrie Ann, bless her she sounds a real fighter.

also prayers to her mum who must be going through hell, for a mum not to be able to make her child better, is like a fish out of water, been there.

My love to you all

hi all
i feel so silly posting bad news but carrie-ann took a turn for the worst yesterday. She has a secondary infection in the lungs along with a blood infection and she now has a distended stomach which they think means it isn't working?
we are all devastated as she was doing so well. we are all still hoping she pulls through but is isn't looking good at the mo.
I will as always keep you all posted.
kisses

One step forward, two steps back.  It is very hard and there is nothing anyone can do other than watch and wait. From personal experience it is the hardest thing in the world for a parent, to feel so helpless. Our thoughts are with them and her and yourself.
Gardening is the great leveller.

They have confirmed she has septicmia, i don't know what that means but i know it isn't good. blood poisioning i think?
she is such a fighter but how much more can she take? i was thinking about her when i saw her at my sisters wedding last june, she looked so grown up and i was shocked at how beautiful she had become.
