Mice resistance

Like many of you I grow 'slug' resistant potato varieties, but is there 'mouse' resistant varieties?

I ask this because; I went down my allotment this morning (first time since Xmas) and on looking at the three bags of potatoes I had stored there, I found two were untouched by mice and the other was decimated.

The untouched varieties were Amour & Valor and the decimated one was Golden Wonder.

So do mice have preferances???   the mind boggles :o

They always used to go for the Golden Wonder crisps in the cellar of one of the pubs I've worked in (not naming names obviously) so maybe they do  ;D
