The first egg of 2012
« on: January 22, 2012, 20:07:19 »
Yesterday we got ur first egg of 2012, in fact the first egg since the end of August.  I was so ridiculously pleased with it that I took a picture.

For even more pictures, and to marvel at how much can be written about a single medium sized egg, there's a blog entry here: http://johnnorman.wordpress.com/2012/01/22/the-first-egg-of-2012/

@GrannyJanny No, they're large pure breed fowl - Ixworths.  We were warned that they'd take a winter break!

@Pumpkinlover  I wanted my wife to have it; she wanted me to eat it.  So we'll wait for the second one, then have one each.  :)
