Wasp!!
« on: January 11, 2012, 00:14:40 »
I was chatting to the pharmacist yesterday, I'd been in the chemist about 20 minutes when he pointed to my arm.

There was a huge queen wasp crawling up my sleeve :o.......I'm a wasp ee phobe.......hate 'em.......ugh. After squeeling like a girl I managed to flick it off and stomp on it. I thanked the gallant pharmacist for his help......not ::)

The downside of mild weather I guess, we'll be seeing the hornets next :-[

Hi Star :)

There was a piece about all the things in nature still about/appearing early last night on the Simon Mayo show as there seem to be so many with the mild winter this year.  Seems it will be colder by the weekend :)

I discovered a queen? wasp on a load of 'stuff' I wanted to shift.  I carefully relocated her to under the eaves of the shed.  I hope she remembers me and my good deed next summer !    ::)  Cheers,     Tony.
