Well done to everyone who's made a donation, it's a fabulous amount. I hope in time we can learn where it's going to be used :) Really pleased at such a generous amount :)

I've just made a closing donation making it a grand total of £669-50. I'd like to thank everyone who donated.

Thanks also to Daveyboi, Betula, Grannyjanny, Hector, Ninnycrops and Pumpkinlover for their generosity.

It's been heartwarming to see the response to this and I'm proud to have been part of it.

I spoke to Sarah at Greenfingers this morning and she's going to send me a letter thanking all of us.  When I receive it I'll make sure that you all see what it says.

Just to round this off I have received a letter from Sarah at Greenfingers asking me to pass on her sincere thanks to all members who donated.

Don't forget that Greenfingers has a website, http://www.greenfingerscharity.org.uk/,
a Facebook page and is on Twitter(@Greenfingerscha).

Thank You Mike for running this.

Thanks to all the other members of A4A for their generosity.

And finally thanks Betula for coming up with the "Good Idea" three years ago and keeping it going.

(The Good Idea was that rather than have a secret Santa as in previous years we should donate to a charity instead)

I feel so guilty now that I didn't give this year, hopefully finances will be better next year.  All you people are brilliant.  Well done everyone.

Do not feel guilty !!

I was not expecting us to raise so much this year with the current financial squeeze and personally would not want anyone to stretch their finances too far by giving something they could not afford.
