by the way, we ain't had a television in our house for over 10 years, don't buy 'celebrity' magazines or newspapers, and think the whole celebrity culture thing is a load of tosh.

as for knighting folk who have made a good living doing what they enjoy  ???  ???  ???

Crayon, chalk, pictures whatever, I would still come to the same conclusion. Perhaps I should have finished reading it and enlightened myself, but filling my head with all that sort of dross ain't my bag. Same with most of the other stuff you post, just too tedious to plough through, but keep on posting others might be interested. Doubt it, but I have been known to be wrong.

ps There you go Ceres not a profanity in sight, but am I allowed to think them?

First of all, theres a netiquette abbreviation for it, which ive no doubt you dont know, being a chan virgin

its  TL:DR

but you'll need to google 'global village idiot' for further enlightement................

second, its also the least embarrasing way of admitting its over your head. I bet at school you sat on the back row and laughed at anyone who did well ?

Linc you do have a mind  of info but do you have to put everyone down and always be right, you seem to have an opinion about everything and always seem to be right, everyone has there own opinion but we have no right to tell our grandkids( by the way I'm no where near that old ) what to to and not to watch, do you not want them to have their own minds, I'm just off to find my crayons.   ;)
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Boring old git,the bloke asked for a Knighthood, everytime he came on the box he whined because he was still at the end of the queue and thought that he might pop off before the next series of that other boring crap 'Come dine with me' sorry 'Strictly come Dancing',  :)

Agree. There are some really knowledgeable folk who share info/knowledge without criticising others. I'd rather a crayon wielder than be dismissive of others.

What a relief to see this thread.
i cant bear thecringe making arogant gurning git.
This is where the digibox comes in very handy, just tape strictly and fast forward through his drivel.

Knighthood- a sudden inflamation of the voice box for him and Noel edmunds which lasts until 2030 would be a blessing. cannot bear them tess outshines him every night.

I also bet that I was not laughing at you boy. As for abbreviations why would I want to use them? I like words, I have a full querty keyboard in front of me, I do not have to pretent to be a supposedly elete computor whizzkid.

Linc you do have a mind  of info

He has the same as the rest of us Kev, it is at his fingertips. It can't be up there in his head otherwise why would he be just working as a cook. (do you want fries with that sir). I tend to use my own knowledge base when answering threads on here, If I don't know I certainly ain't going to trawl through the internet to impress people. I do use search engines as tools if I am researching a new project and very useful it is. But in the wrong hands it's usefulness just gets tiresome.

Where did I say I worked as a cook?  I actually worked in IT for 20+ years as a project manager, designing, implementing and  managing large scale it rollouts of hardware and network infrastructures, mostly for the LEA but also for a large international engineering company. Then I got bored with it and worked in horticulture for 8 years. Now i do what i like, im curently landscaping a garden for somone, regardless of typos................

Neither do i 'trawl the internet to impress people', most of it is already in there, having worked in the business half my working life. I started using JANET on a DEC 11/750,  writing programs on punch cards in COBOL 66 in the late 1970's before the internet was invented and possible before you were born as well. On the other hand i read huge amounts of scientific literiture such as New Scientist, Scientific American, The Journal of Physics, and Nature, and have done since I was about 12 years old, subjects that have interested me include stuff like Cosmology and Astronomy, Paleoanthrology, and lots of other subjects. This is becuse i like to know why the world is such, its called having an enquiring mind. Thats why im a mine of all sorts of information. And for the record, since you and your mate tonybloke have decided to launch an unwarranted attack on me and my integrity, i have a second class honours degree in Computer Science, and a masters in Information Systems and Technology, specialising in Expert Systems from UMIST. Consequently, when one is reasonably well educated, one tends to find the Sun and the Daily Mirror somewhat lacking in substance, although presumably you dont.

Sorry, I thought you was a cook, I should have googled you first. But lets go back to the beginning shall we. I happen to disagree with your thoughts on Brucie. because of that you deemed to insult me and a few others.

'Some peopel here need to get a perspective.'

'Btw, its a no brainer for most normal people with kids.'

Your spelling not mine. You assumed because we disagree with your views on Brucie we all let our children view the tosh you posted. I call that insulting. Also what's  this normal all about. If we don't agree again, are we all sub normal?

So before you start casting the blame on us, look to yourself.

But when it really comes down to it you are just another internet (go to the watershed)

Why does lincsyokel not get moderated to stop him being so rude to people? It's surely an insult to call someone uneducated!

its an observation based on his self declared inability to read posts and links provided. Ergo the conclusions about  his educational level is reasonable and based on the information supplied in his own posts.

If yo ugo round admitting you're unable to read a post because its  by implication above your head, what other conclusion could we derive? And why therfore is it insulting to point out an inevitable conclusion? Surely, if dont want people to think such things, why then go round implying it about yourself, that alone is indicative of the implication separately.
