Our next competition is the Heaviest Pumpkin (won't be mine) and marrow (might be) next month.

I wish my carrots would look like that!!! Blood things still won't grow properly!
And that beetroot, well it made me cross my legs!!!!   :P

Just a question - i see you have lovely water barrels on site, but how do they get filled, as there are no roofs for catchment???
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

We are allowed to fill water barrels by hose, but lots of people have them next to a shed or greenhouse and they fill with rainwater.
