bengals cont'd
«

For all those interested in meeting my bengal bunch as discussed in earlier post, I have managed to get an online album together, please follow the link to view my album...
The two girls are only F3, that's to say 3 generations from an Asian Leopard Cat (
Felis bengalensis
). The very spotty boy is an SBT (stud book tradition i.e. F4+) with any luck (he's still young...), their kittens should be stupidly good looking and smart...
Being F4s, they will have the best of both worlds (closest to the ALC eligible to be shown) I am so excited!!. This is the only hybrid that the GCCF have decided to register, since it has long been regarded as a super friendly and ridiculously silly companion.
;) Meet my bengals, enjoy ;)

They do have shiny coats, yes :)
I am an advocate of the feeding of natural raw meat to my cats (be they bengals or not) and have noticed this really boosts the good shine of their coats.
Also, most bengals have the 'glitter' gene, thats to say some hairshafts are hollow and refract light really well....makes them look like they've been dusted with gold....hard to show with a flash.
Glad you liked them

I'm a sucker for long-bodied, elegant, aristocratically necked, delicately-faced cats. Â
In one of the minor side temples on the Karnak site in Egypt, you can walk into an almost pitch dark chamber - lit only by a thin beam of sunlight falling directly on a stunning black granite statue of the cat goddess (as a cat, not half-cat/human). Â Your cat in photo 6 could almost be a model for it - beautiful.
:) :) :)
All best - Gavin

Oh Rosie - I am mortified, I cannot see your beautiful cats :'( All I get is a message saying the Photobucket account is 'private' and your login page.

I have managed to fend off having a cat for years and years, but I think if I showed my hubby those fantastic felines we would not be a cat free home for very long!
They are beautiful Rosie!

Yes, mine are housecats...after all, knowing my luck they'd go and have a fling with the local stray if I let them out...!!
