Anyone going to see the film, or want to.  Read the book, seen the film, but am quite tempted to see the new one.

No film however good can beat the book & your own interpretation of it.

Funny isn't it?  I don't get on at all with the Brontes.  All that doom and gloom and outrageous characters with excess emotion and no humour so I find I don't give a fig about any of their characters.

I agree With Sunloving. Jane should be plain and in my imagination Mr Rochester is a mature menacing not a classically handsome man but very charismatic. Both of these characters just don't seem right!
Orson Welles and George C Scott were right as Mr Rochester.

Jane Eyre is the better book, but Wuthering Heights knocked my socks off, even though i thought I knew what to expect from the films. Totally gobsmacked I was, on me sun-lounger in the Mellieha Bay Hotel  :)

I predict a flop. Rochester looks about 14!
