Too far from me I'm afraid, but I would relish the oppurtunity to go to another sites open day. Anyone in Cumbria planning an open day, please do let me know.

Hope you have a great day pumpkinlover

Steve...:)

Hope you will have a very successful day and get lots of visitors.  Have just looked at your allotments on google earth and it looks a very nice site.

Well the weather was miserable in the morning but picked up for the show.

We had a really good turn out of visitors, but were disappointed at the plot holder response. I'm going to post in allotment movement on this.

We had a magician/ clown and the kids were fascinated by this. Will post picis and takings later.

Can she call you Granny Betty  ;) ?
She's a bit of a softy though so she's moved into my shed now :)

Yes, of course she can - there is a strong family resemblance!

I don't blame you for moving her into the shed, she is not really dressed for a winter outdoors is she?

Scarecrows Smith is ageing rapidly.  He has over 1000 friends on Facebook so it's not going to be easy to kill him off.  I'll have to try to make a new one as similar to him as possible.  I need to get a life.
