shipping Container

Is there anyone who knows where I can get a smallish shipping container for our allotment we need on to store power tools - Rotovator, strimmer etc
Ant ideas would be very welcome

Have you tried asking on Freecycle?

We looked at this some time ago for our site.  You need to find one locally but most 2nd hand ones get sold on ebay for quite a lot of money these days.  The real problem is moving it and depends on access to your site.  We could get a skip sized one through the gates no problem but a larger one may have had to come over the fence by crane.

But it can be done,  you just need the resources to do it.

Oh  :o That size shipping container. There was me thinking it was a large wooden crate  :-[

have thought about those metal type huts  the council use, you could try asking your local council for any that's redundant?
