Ah now I know where I went wrong when I had the greenhouse!!! (growing outdoor toms only until I replace the old greenhouse). why White plainleaf?

The san marzano given to my friend is enormous with great big (albeit green) fruits. She grows hers in growbags and was feeding twice a week with Tomorite.

grawrc white pots do not over heat the plant roots like dark color pots do.

But dark ones are better if the climate is cooler so it is a judgement call depending on your area. in the |Uk I would use black.
