Early parsnips
« on: July 28, 2011, 19:56:57 »
We're quite happy with this parsnip, think it was white knight,  pre-chitted and sowed in late february. 3/4 of a pound in weight and had to pull it out with both hands  ;D

Nice one Manics.I can never wait until after the frost either ;D
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I sowed mine late and they are only just putting a few leave on. I dont mind though as with the weather weve had this year is all been trail and error and wait and see.
