Has anyone tried starting off swedes in modules or small pots please?

My daughter bought some in modules Gordon. They've grown very quickly too.

Our mate, big Tony, started his all in trays, we transplanted 12, didn't expect much but we are now pulling very nice sized swede :)

I have done it previously and it worked well but have just sown the lazy way yesterday.... 2 rows, sown in the ground.
