Runner Bean 'Long as your arm'
« on: June 24, 2011, 12:29:04 »
Have just been given seeds of 'Long as your arm' runners, by a lovely old gentleman whose garden I now look after.  He has saved his own seed for over 40 years with no other beans in the near vicinity (don't think his neighbours would know what RB plants looked like - they think they come in packets from M & S!!!)
Have given a load away on another forum, but still have spares, PM me if interested, there's still time to sow!!

Just thinking about which beans to grow this year and wondered how everyone got on with 'Long as your arm' runners? Did anyone have a chance to save any seeds?

Torreya. I really am sorry to keep repeating myself BUT your inbox is full. There's no point sending me a PM asking if I received the seeds when I can't reply to you.
