Pushing it for inoor Courgette sowing?

You could try the jam jar method so there is no check by transplanting.

Put a large jar upside down over the final growing place to warm the soil for a day.  Sow seed on it's edge in a pocket of compost and replace the jar to act as a cloche until germinated and grown into a small plant. 

It is worth a punt even if you only get a few fruits at the end of the season.  Depends how far north you are though.

yes..I think is still worth it for later crops.

I've just sown another 12  seeds today.  Didn't think the 18 plants I've already got growing would be enough.  :o
