Off to collect my white onions just to ensure I have some to come back to after our two weeks in Menorca.  They could do with a couple more weeks but I'd rather have smaller onions than a long blank strip on our return.        :'(   It's a sorry state when you have to do this.       Cheers,   Tony

Are you saying you have 'rats' on your allotment site,Tony. If so I feel for you,we have them here in manchester too! There is nothing more annoying than putting in the graft only to have it taken away by some scroat or other. Grrrr!!!
