Ferminator

Has anyone of you out there had a chance at using this item.
http://www.furminator.com/
A Deshedding comb which I have just had a go on our dog Winnie.
She has so much fluff for a short haired lab, I could not believe how much came off her body.
What I wish I had done was found a cheaper one sold online. :o
Paid a sizeable amount and then found cheaper ones on the net. :-[
Good item though and should have got one a long time ago.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

They are a boon to use as they only get rid of the undercoat. I show my Ragdolls and a few of my showmates use them on their cats. I am known for my expert grooming (the cats not me) and they wanted to see if it really did only do the 'undercoat'. They used it on my Harry and guess what no hair in the comb as id already removed all his dead hairs with his grooming routine. They then tried it on a friends cat who has many cats at show and little time to do them all perfectly and it took out a lot of dead hairs. They are expensive but they do get some good offers on ebay at times so its worth looking out for one there.

I use one on my Border terriers and it works a treat.  My dogs have fairly short coats, I'm not sure if it would work on long-coated breeds.

They are much cheaper on Amazon now.

Betty, My neighbour has borrowed the brush for her Retrievers and boy do they look the better for the combing.

Got them back now to put some tread on them
