Stickmakers out there? Just harvested some Hazel for next years walking sticks.

Sadly not at the moment, all my sticks have been sold this year.

I may have some prints will ave to look them up and scan them in.

My favourite is carving the heads or using old door knobs or other bits and pieces for handles.

I sowed some walking stick cabbage yesterday- Thanks to Cambourne

shouldn't you be harvesting Hazel when the leaves have fallen? ( in winter) ?
You couldn't make it up!

Those sticks are great. I love the fox. My Dad had a stick that had a snake carved all the way up, I wonder what happened to it.
