...but thanks to my wonderful lottie neighbour/site secretary whose garden backs onto the plot, I was able to water half my plot with her hose pipe! So, rushed around like a mad woman watering, weeding, watering, planting, watering, tidying, filling water butts, watering and so on! The hose only reached half way up the plot, but the half that has been watered was looking great, and amazing how quickly things perked up!
The downs, the Jays have been at my broadbeans, so I picked all of the remaining big pods and will just have to enjoy little beans! Must buy some more netting!! Also my carrots are patchy, looks like slug damage! Gave them a really good water and scattered some slug pellets before putting the fleece back.
The ups, masses and masses of raspberries coming, and my florence fennel appears to be bulbing up! (It is the resistant to bolting one Tim, you sent me them).
So all is well in the world! ;D
