Well said that man, the thing is Ace you probably did it thoroughly, none on this skimping lark, any way back to Mrs Doubtfire, I get out lots and meet loads of peeps, I stick to what I said about multi-tasking, I'm yet to meet a bird who can have sex and a headache at the same time.   :P

Birds get headaches omg  ;D so that's what all the tweeting has been about in the garden - but obviously you are not a fan of Marvin Gaye - sexual healing and all that  :P - my how this innocent thread has slipped into men, multi tasking and sex (typical) - how long do the holidays last  8)

been down lottie plan on more trips too, planted my spuds with them, it was mummy plant a row J&H dig them up. as for the "rows" of parsnips and carrots we planted, by the time they had watered them, and squished the mud it made  when mummmys back was turned I think we may have parsnip and carrot scatter.

Thats the joys of the lottie with twin 3 year old boys but they will be proud of what they grew.

Not too much chance of some serious digging with them though.

The book writing has already started, but will need a bit of input from Ace
I am taking the youngest to the allotment in a minute, the oldest is going shopping with next door.

How is the MR CORNEYKEV'S GOOD HOUSEKEEPING coming on. Some old biddy called Mrs Beeton tried to write one once (probably while her husband was doing the housework for her) but it was a second rate publication compared with your experience and penmanship. Try to keep it to words of one syllable  as the girls on these boards will have trouble understanding it and they will have to keep asking their blokes to explain it to them. Oh and write it really slow as they struggle with trying to read fast.

It might be worth having a special brummy edition with just pictures,  a few of them have often gave me a 'piece of their minds' and then left themselves short.

Day 3 in the Corny house
8.25 rise, I didn't realise all the lay ins that go with this lark
The littleun was singing in her room and woke me up
Downstairs to make her breakfast
Sort out the last of my box filed paperwork
Did some more shredding with the littleun
Checked my sweetcorn in the kitchen
Did another load of washing, washing machines do all the work, don't know what all the fuss is about
Went out to the lottie on our bikes
Did a bit of hoeing, dug up some volunteers and sowed carrots and spring onions
Went to the play area
Went for a spin on the bikes again
Stopped at the club and someone forced a bottle of cider in my hand
Did a spot of lunch
Back home put out the washing
Did some more shredding
Got the washing in as it started raining
Put in back out Brought it in
Run a bath
Did the washing up
Had a bath to soak my aching bones
The missus came home early and started on the dinner, it seemed a shame to interfere, mind I did end up chopping the onions and stirring the spag bol
Did some more shredding, where does it all come from, mind you I did have wage slips dating back to 2003
One day to go, will he survive, tune tomorrow to find out.
P.S. The books coming on great Ace keep pm 's coming with the data and I will send you a copy to autograph as you figure in quite a few chapters.
I never thought about a brummie pictured edition, bloody good idea that, I can see me having my own programme on TV to.

tell you what Cornykev, i'll swap you today.

Ive got 3 year old twin boys, one of which I am fairly certain has the start of chicken pox, I guess the rest of the day that will become more apparent if it is. Whatever it is he is feeling very very itchy.

Ao ive got a whole day of staying in (so as not to pass the lurgy on) trying to keep the boys entertained, whilst still doing house work, and contending with an itchy child which is too young to give pitiron.

What do you say fair swap??

Cover from head to toe with calamine lotion, do they still do it, don't let them get hungry keep them well stuffed, paxo is good, I say THEM because they both get it, best they get it now at an early age, invite their friends round as their parents will want them to catch it, experienced here as I've had it three times and the kids have had it, I've had it that many times the Doc calls me Kentucky Kev, cheeky git, hi Kev, hold the fries, yeah really funny Doc where would you like me to stuff your thermometer.
Sorry, going off thread a little, a big day planned ahead, but you will have to wait until later, lets hope the poxy weather livens up a bit.
Good luck Brownowl.     ;)

Day 4   (yesterday)
7.30 rise
Drove missus to work
Made breakfast
Hoovered the front room
Cleaned bath, sink and toilet
Dusted cupboard with ornaments on it
Told the kids to get ready for the fourth time
Had to go back to OH's workplace as she left something behind
Drove straight to my parents house and we went out for the day
We went to a large nursery type place called Van Hage
Loads of flowers, plants, pots, lawn mowers, sheds, greenhouses, calets, playhouses etc
The place was massive but expensive
They had an animal area, goats, chickens, hens, pigs, cockerels, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, etc
Went to the cafe and had a bit of tucka
Their best bit was walking round the sheds, chalets, playhouses and greenhouses in and out, some had sofas in them, I've never seen so many and bloody dear
So I had to look after two kids and a couple of oldies
Back home and time for a sit down
Hang on washing up first
The OH had a leaving do so didn't come in until later
Didn't get much lottie time in this week,I tried to get the youngest over there but she said she was too tired,
I must have worn out the poor mite
Made the OH a cuppa when she came in
A womens work is never done
              ;)

well my boys pox is obviously a viral thing as it went during the day, but he was still grumpy. I was quite thankful though as with that many spots  he'd have been a wreck with it if it had been pox.

We didnt however get to the lottie, lottie time this week has been abysmal but hey,  we plan on taking the pop up tent down the lottie tomorrow so we can dig and they can play in thier tent.

Got fun today as ive got to take two 3 year old to the docs with me, ive got a mole on my ear which has become sore and raised. very worried about it and bet they will whip it off before I have a chance to run like  hell as im scared of hospitals. Thankfully I have privaate health cover through hubbys work so whatever needs doing will be done quick. I am really hopeing its nothign as sinister as skin cancer.

Day 5
The OH couldn't stand me having such a hard time  ::)
She took the day off and we went into Town and went on the London Eye
That's the hardest thing I did all week was queue up for 45 Min's at the eye
And did I moan
I bet she wished she stayed at home
Little un had her photo done with all the artists and Disney characters
Then took her on the carousel
Then in the playground
No it's all right you two just sit on the bench
I'll keep an eye on her
When I come back they said they had seen Super Nanny and had a photo done with her
She was filming something or other
Well that week was an experience
Back at work this week
I'll get more done on the lottie as I'll go there straight from work
I could get used to this lark, it's all good experience for when I'm writing my book
I've had one or two offers to go on day time telly
Something called loose women
Sounds a bit sexist to me
They'd probably try to chat me up or something anyway
They even wanted me to star in a chat show with that Richard and Judy's daughter
Cheeky gits don't they know I have standards
Anyway enough for now I'm off to write my book
PS  Best of luck Brownowl.   ;)
