Having mulched all the shrubs, perennials and roses with lots of first-rate vintage horse muck , am amazed at the result after just a few days. Everything's flourishing! Roses are amazing - so many new leaves! Worth the bad back!

They would have put out the new leaves anyway... it being Spring... but I'm sure it will be worth it as the season progresses.. :)

......as the only poor high rose that has not been 'mucked' yet is well short of leaf growth.....but there's some on the way.................
