The kindness of strangers
« on: December 11, 2010, 06:01:56 »
I can't think of any other way to describe what has happened and I don't want to mention any names .............

but thank you so much!

You know who you are, and your kindness is very much appreciated.

No, I wasn't thinking of you when I wrote, but that's only because I didn't know about it.........so on behalf of those two people, thank you!  :)  :)

Despite all the gloom and doom we read about, and the few miserable people we come across there are still plenty who will go out of their way to help others.

I'm sure Santa won't mind you getting only a 'bit' drunk.  ;)

Do you think we get better presents for leaving out a glass of sherry and a mince pie than the lot over the pond who leave out milk and cookies?

Betty, i have to agree with you i have had such kindness shown to me, like you say the kindness of strangers. A couple i have made real friends with one lady in particular + so many others it cheers you up that peeps can be so kind when they do not know you.
Thank you to the lady in Scotland you know who you are.

I can guess, someone sent you boxes and boxes of cat food. It wasn't me. Come on, you have got us all intrigued now.

Another act of kindness today.......... a complete stranger brought me a box of about 12 packets of cat food.  She had heard that we are feeding the feral cats and wanted to help.

I've come to the conclusion that there are more cat lovers than dog lovers out there. :)
