Seems to be working
« on: February 14, 2011, 06:49:57 »
[attachment=1]

I'm using this Wilkinson plastic cloche inside my unheated greenhouse.  I put the electric propagator inside it, without the lid on.  It seems to be working, the chillies were up in 8 days.

Maybe a daft question, but if your prop is heated, do you really need the cloche as well?

The lid on the propagator cracked and a big chunk of it came away in my hands.  I don't want to get rid of it because it's only the lid that's broken.  It's surprising how it has raised the temperature inside the cloche, making it a bit like a giant propagator.
