. . . found a pack containing a variety of herbaceous perennials seeds I'd collected acouple of years ago.
The seeds were collected in late september & i've no idea what they are.
When should I try sowing them -obviously i don't know when or if they will germinate as they are a random selection.
Any ideas? - I'm loathe to discard them without even trying.

Thanks Goodlife.
Is it as simple as putting the seed into compost, or do they need any special treatment i.e. cold spell, exclude light etc..
Any advice gratefully received ;D

without actually knowing what seeds they are..well difficult to say if they need or not. Safe bet is just to sow on surface of the compost and giving them light covering of compost....if you have vermiculate or grit you could mix little that into compost too. Keep them in room temperature and see what happens...good luck ;D
