Super fast me  ;D  I learnt to touch type at a very young age and (with a bit of practice when I got a puter) its something like riding a bike.....you never forget.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

I use about 4 fingers. But never typed at all until we had a pc
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

so long as you can type more slowly than you think, there's less chance of you putting your foot in it

I've been typing since I was a teenager and am reasonably fast - but it certainly ain't nothing like touch-typing!

I too have been typing since my teens, but the trouble in the ink ribbon has run out and I do not know where to get another which is full of ink now.
Also the trouble with typewriters is they cannot do the same as a pc and spell check for you. :D

Got them back now to put some tread on them

That's typical,  I would have been in the shed as well but lost my broadband connection early Saturday evening for a couple of days!

God gave up two ears and one mouth, so we'd listen more than we spoke, but he didn't reckon on us inventing the keyboard, so we could be at it all day with our 10 digits (and other parts too if we're off on one)

maybe that's why the internet is such an angry place
