As I mentioned about this book in 'gardening christmas pressies'
I'll share some of the tips in here..time to time...good or not... ;D
I think we all are already sick of snow and frost and ready to get sowing the first seeds..so...tip no1
"If you want to know when to sow, take your trousers off and sit on the ground"

At the moment I would not dream of it...tad too chilly.. :o

The best thing if you want ideas from the old gardeners is 'The Victorian Kitchen Garden'. There's a book as well as the DVD, and Harry Dodson wrote a gardening book as well, which isn't hard to find second-hand.
