Oh dear...I'm getting itchy fingers now..but I'm going to be strong and wait untill much later with sowing. I'm not growing show quality onions..only to eat..and as the weather is closing in and frosty days ahead..heating GH is too hard work ::) I might as well bite my nails and wait the spring.
It would be nice to see some photos of the giant onions progress later on... ;)

I am sure I posted a good luck message this morning.  It seems to have disappeared.

So good luck are you trying for some real giants.

The biggies can be good eating too.... I've always use my Kelsaes for onion soup..... saves peeling dozens of onions when you can peel three monsters..... they're good for onion gravy too... hoping the Aislaes will live up to their rep....

The biggies can be good eating too.... Umm..I would love to peel just few and have a pot of onion soup (not all in one go though ::))..but I'm bit limited with the amount of onion I use/eat...last time I made onion soup..yum...the 'weather turned positively stormy' over here..and it was more than just 'pain in the  bum' :-X ;D
One day..when I have more time in my hands ::)...I would love to raise to the challenge and grow a 'biggie' ;D..but as it is I'm just as satisfield with smaller ones...after all it is  not the size that matters...as long as you get some :o :-X ;D ;)
