Here is just a small part of what a person has to go through if they want to join the silent service.

With the depth those subs go down to I doubt it would be a great deal of use. BUT since they still do the drill about how to fit an inflatable life jacket on planes when flying over land.......Who am I?

The post reminded me of a friend of mine, in her teens, a boyfriend told her that she should see the submarine race. He pointed out to sea and she said she looked for ages before she realised.

The relationship did not develop further.

You may mock but just remember when we where up on the artic patrols freezing our whatsits off it was to protect you from the ruskies and your freedom of expression would be severly  curtailed if we had failed.

Rum, Sodomy and the lash was a great CD are you a fan?

i just thought Rum, Sodomy and the Lash was a great name for a band......... I suppose if you were unlucky, it was Rum, Sodomy and a Rash...

the number of people in our family who had a life on the ocean wave is quite a lot, so i was exempted

The Prince of Wales not a pub I frequent very often as it is in East Cowes where if the world was to have piles, that's where they would be.
