Pampas Grass
« on: December 02, 2010, 15:16:06 »
according to Esther Rantzen in today's paper, if you've got pampas grass growing in your front garden, then you're advertising that you're into wife-swapping. is this true, anyone?

We haven't got any in the front, but i've got a big clump round the back. So what does that say about me?

So does that mean if I grow a pampas grass out the back of my property well it will have to be the side that I can then swap my OH.  Sounds great.   ;D

I grew a pink one from seed many years ago at our previous house.  There was a fashion for them at one time more than 25 years ago now because I left it behind when we moved.   It never was a pink as the picture on the packet.  I wonder what a pink one is a sign of  ???  :o;D

Esther first noticed it when she was campaigning in Luton at the General Election. She couldn't understand when she was going round  knocking on doors why everyone was trying to dig up their pampas grass before she arrived  ;D

Trying to dig up a pampas grass is madness. Isn't the only reliable way to be rid of them to set them on fire  ;D

Wouldn't want to give the hubby ideas. I suspect he's just looking for an opportunity to escape . . .  ;D

Setting them on fire only keeps them in check.

I went to a Swingers Party once, We all threw our keys in a fruitbowl on the coffee table, and I went home with a tin of corned beef
