Calling women allotment holders!
« on: August 08, 2003, 14:40:06 »
I am a journalist on The Independent and am writing a piece for Monday on the growing popularity of allotments among women. If there are any women out there willing to talk to me, and be photographed  - please email me or call 020 7005 2141. Thank you

Hi Maxine

I'm sorry I couldn't help but I was out on the allotment digging my Inca Gold spuds yesterday (they make the most marvellous chips) so didn't notice your deadline.  Will you be posting your article on this website?  I'd like to read what you have to say about us ladies getting in touch with their inner peasant.
