ACE's knee
« on: October 27, 2010, 07:59:45 »
Wishing you all the best for tomorrow, ACE. xxx

I hope it won't be long before you're having a celebratory 'knees up' in the glow of those red chandeliers.

Can't wait to hear all about in your elegiac prose.  Good luck and no stealing extra gas from the anaesthetist for recreational use when you get home.
is it in the sale?

Good luck ACE - if the hospital is anything like the one where I had my knee replacement done you will be up within a few hours of coming round from the anaesthetic and home within 48 hours - on crutches.

I agree with Tricia, ACE will be up on his feet within no time.  It's the best way to help prevent a thrombosis.

I wonder how he will get on with the surgical stockings too?   ;)  ;D  ;D

Joking apart, it is very painful recovering from this operation and even though morphine is used to alleviate the pain, it is still severe.

Get well soon ACE, we are thinking of you.

What knee! I don't know what all the fuss is about ;D. First class service, first class nurses and first class aftercare. They had to let me go today to give their aching ribs a rest after too much laughing and joking over the weekend. They also wanted to give the other patients a bit of a rest after my challenge to a race down the corridor on crutches and zimmerframes ;).

Had some lovely grub as a mate of mine works in the kitchen. I ticked every box instead of one in each section  except for today when my order comes to my bed and the next patient has to have my choice just for today so he has macaroni cheese and curry sauce tonight.

It sounds like you had a big knee's up not an oppo, I bet they let you go early because the jokes were so bad.
And your car was taking up two spaces so you couldn't afford to stay any longer.
 ;D ;D ;D
