compost and oils
«

Hi, I'm doing alot of chainsaw work at the mo and creating loads of dust and chips. I use clean veg oil on my chains as oppossed to regular synthetic oils.
My query is.... are these chips ok to compost with the veg oil on them?
Many thanks :)

yes, it is vegetal, it will just break down in the soil, remembering that wood in general takes longer to compost than other things...
