Tee Gee what are you going to do next with the sweet peas? Mine are looking like that and wondered what to do with them now that they are so tall.

They will stay in the greenhouse @ around 40*F until I need the space, then I will put them in the cold frame.

So I guess they will be in the cold frame within the next couple of weeks or so.

Homemade!

Recipe for around  70 litres loose compost

4 x 2gall buckets Peat

1x 2gall bucket sharp sand

20 oz John Innes base mix

Mix up, bag up, and leave for a few days before using.

Just made up around 140 litres this morning.......bootiful stuff!

Time will tell if it performs well as I have never used JI base before, normally use Chempak base.

I changed to JI when T&M took over Chempak and upped the prices by about double.

I don't mind paying for what I want, all I want is value for money and T&M does not give me that in my opinion!
