Moonlight.

Very disappointed with this runner bean have not had a boiling yet, so i don't know what happened to it's "excellent self pollinating characteristics that ensure a good bean set",so glad didn't put all my eggs in one basket and grew St George as well because i've had shed loads off them.

An update on Moonlight, complet disaster only had 4 boilings, the plants allways look on there last legs, you were lucky to get one bean per flower spike and most of them were short scraggy things with one big bean at the end of it,but what i did get on taste(the flavour of runners on  sunday dinners at me grandma's) alone and if Marshalls still do them for next year  ??? I'm going to have another go. Not sure about St George  :-\ loads a beans but not the best flavour so may go back to White Lady which had the better taste.
