  All for tonights dinner..

cooking dinner in the clay baker this afternoon,,,
trimmed off unwanted wing tips from chicken, soaked it in salted water for a while to clean it out well. wiped it dry, Pam sprayed the inside of large clay baker, placed chicken inside put a few potatoes round the sides, and put a couple leeks from the garden inside the chicken, spray pammed all over, light shake of salt and thyme. closed lid put in oven turn heat on to 400 and will leave it now till about 6.15....... will serve with runner beans and some asparagus......
poached pears from garden and home made yogurt to follow.

I found one for cooking a turkey in TK Max, it was only £10 but it wouldn't fit in the oven :'(.
I think food is lovely cooked in it. I bought the original, still in it's box from a car boot for £3 18 years ago. It doesn't owe me anything does it ;).
