My chicken has a poory foot it keeps bleeding all the time i have this puder stuff i bought that was supposed to heel it and some stuff that is purpul but she just keeps pecking it off all the time,should i cover it with a bandage do u think.
it just will not stop bleeding,she had this mite on her legs and we treeted that,and this has been going on for a while she just hopping on one foot all the time
think she is still laying though

Hi, sorry to hear that your chicken has a bad foot. I dont know enough really to help but i can recomend another forum its the poultry keeper. or you could try the poultry garden. both of these chicken keeper communities have clinic pages that might help.

Hope you get it sorted as its horrible to see one of your girls hurt.

Or take her to the vet becuase it might be that she has an infection that needs anitbiotics such as baytril or tylan.

Okay i am not sure if i should mention this but i will.

When our little one (bantum) had a bleeding foot, after some umming and ahhhing i sprayed some spray on plaster every so often and it did the trick.
