I gave up trying after 2 months and culled the flock. I was not feeding them for nothing so got new ones.

Keep sitting on the side of nest box and catch when they drop from other end.. ::)
or if you can..do more frequent visits to collect, and/or keep some golfballs/fake eggs in nest box all the time.
